Resin Car Works has issued a limited edition of a HO scale acid tank car kit with DuPont decals. The model is from our Kit 1.0 releases but this DuPont version had not been produced. We only have decals for 35 kits so these will go quickly. Visit the website for details and the order form.

About our kits
Resin Car Works started five years ago at this time. The idea for a new resin freight car kit had been percolating for a few months in Frank Hodina’s brain. Frank had been producing patterns for kits marketed by Martin Lofton of Sunshine Models. Several freight car projects were started for Martin but regrettably not finished due to his passing. After awhile, people began to ask about the unfinished patterns. About the same time, there were several prototypes Frank wanted to build as models for his home layout and Resin Car Works took form.

Frank Hodina wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their support of Resin Car Works. The SFRD reefer kit sales have been brisk. Actually we only have enough decals for about ten more cars.
St. Louis RPM summary
The recent St. Louis RPM meet was well attended with more than 650 through the doors. Additionally, there were nearly 3000 wonderful models displayed. Bill Welch sent along his thoughts on the meet with a few photos. Links to photo galleries are posted at the end. Here’s Bill!
Here is my take on what I saw and heard at the St. Louis RPM. Bob’s Photo had about 20 binders that he characterized as new photos, both color and B&W, in addition to his usual array of old milk crates of photos sorted by railroad.
