Resin Car Works has added a couple of new hopper Mini-Kits. These can be used to upgrade an HO scale Atlas offset-side hopper for Frisco and NC&StL prototype cars. These followed the 50-ton AAR standard design and were built by Pullman-Standard.

New Resin Car Works kits!

Resin Car Works has released another version of the HO scale AT&SF Whalebelly 50-foot automobile boxcars. These one-piece body kits feature reversed Murphy steel ends. Two versions of this kit feature different Santa Fe decal sets. The previous RCW models had Dreadnaught ends.

My good friend Bill Welch received bad news in September 2020 when he was diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer. During this period, I kept in close contact with him and we discussed many things about modeling, world events, and his beloved Dodgers. Bill was always challenging me to raise the bar and try new methods, tools, and materials.
