I attended the recent Indy Junction event. This was a combination convention with three NMRA regions hosting, plus an RPM Conference. It was fully loaded with presentations, modular layouts, operating sessions, home layout tours, model contest and display rooms, vendor rooms, and more. My brain is still recovering.

I had Monday off so I thought I’d finish up a couple projects for upcoming Resin Car Works releases. Then I got a little carried away decaling cars that had been sitting around.
Besides all the newly decaled cars, you might notice a few projects in the upper right corner. Yup, that’s the SOO 50-foot auto box. Plus a couple of other fun projects, a C&IM coal gon and the side for a PM/C&O steel auto car. Hmmm, what will become of these?

I’m recovering from a busy RPM Chicagoland weekend in Lisle, IL. The days seemed to blur right by like a speeding train. I took some notes to offer a summary. If you haven’t attended a railroad prototype modeler (RPM) meet, I encourage you to take action and attend a meet near you.
